Ingredients:
1 loaf of ciabatta or French bread
6 fresh roma tomatoes, seeded and chopped, or one can of chopped
tomatoes
2 T chopped onion
salt, pepper, sweet basil-to taste
fresh or roasted garlic
4 tsp olive oil
dash of sugar

Directions:
In a skillet, sauté onion in some olive oil. When
transparent, add the tomatoes, salt, pepper, sweet basil and
a touch of sugar. Sauté until heated through. Slice
bread in half lengthwise, sprinkle olive oil over bread and
toast in broiler or oven. Once toasted, spread roasted or
fresh garlic over the bread and top with tomato mixture. Place
under broiler to heat through. Serve and enjoy!
